Also, I’ve been doing yoga every day for a week and a half now. This morning I was 900 shades of not in the mood - I had an early doctor’s appointment and only got 6 hours of sleep (I need 8) and driving in peak hour is lame. So I bribed myself with “fuck this I will literally do ardha mukha svanasana for thirty seconds then go take a nap, that will be better than nothing.” and the minute I straightened my legs ALL WAS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD like holy CRAP it was good. The sound I made was not human.
Then I practised for thirty minutes because holy shit and now I feel great and can take a nap in good conscience before work.

Colour run’s coming to my city on May 19th! That gives me just over two months to get to the point where I can comfortably run 5k without stopping (because while I know I can walk some parts of it, I’d really rather not.)
Thank god the weather generally starts cooling down in March and I’ll actually be able to push myself without worrying about heatstroke. (Well, I’ll still have to worry, I’d have to worry about heatstroke in Antarctica, it’ll just be — less.)
